She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Wheeler and Minnie Lou Cross (Jones); and her siblings, Clarence Cross, Frances Coley, Louise Cannady, Ruth Warner, Betty Pope and Floyd Cross.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey Mabry (Joel), Betsy Moore (Lenwood), Becky Moncrief and Alton "Buddy" Hayes (Jeanne Smith); her grandchildren, Nancy Huitt (Chris), Alton Hayes, Jr. (Jessica), Rachel Moncrief, Erica Moore, Paul Hayes and Angie Ferguson; and her siblings, Pat House, Evelyn Reeves, James Cross, John Cross, Marie Cross and Fred Cross. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
