He was predeceased by: his son Robert Craig Ramsey; and his parents, Lavelle and Robert Newton Ramsey, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Moring Ramsey; his daughter Terri Byce (Von Eric); his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Byce and Aaron Jackson Byce; and his siblings, Jennifer "Robin" Carter and Jonathan Ramsey.
