He is survived by: his wife Josefa Cardenas; and his children, Arturo, Martha, Jose Luis (Eustolia), Sergio (Eva), Francisco, Alma (Raul), Rafael, Roberto, Jesus, Maria Isabel (José) and David. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 siblings.
