She was predeceased by: her husband George Wesley Barfield; and her brothers, Ralph Schofill and Fred Schofill. She is survived by: her children, Terry Barfield (Kitty), Sheryl Barfield Angle of Warner Robins, Brian Barfield of Florida, Wayne Barfield (Bonnie), Warner Robins and Charlotte Barfield of Warner Robins; and her grandchildren, Brandi Kathryn Rigsby (Joel), Kevin Angle (Stephanie), Derek Angle (Emily), Greg Angle (Jessica), Jason Barfield (Robin) and Daniel Barfield.
