She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Zeb Vance Laughter, Jr. and Mary Frances Harmon Laughter; her husband Franklin Thomas; and her siblings, Randy Laughter, Wayne Laughter, Gerald Laughter, Irvin Laughter and Teresa Laughter.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Cindy Grimsley (James) of Centerville, GA and Timothy Thomas of Warner Robins, GA; and her sisters, Linda Laughter of Thomaston, GA. and Ressie Stevens of Thomaston, GA.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
