It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Drew Tidwell Jr. (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Drew Tidwell, Sr. and Eva Rose Gilmore; and his stepmother Marion Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Renee Terese Broschart Tidwell; his son Drew Tidwell of Texas; his stepchildren, Terry Jendon (Kerry) and Haley Stevens; his granddaughter Cassandra May (Brian); and his great grandchild Rosie May. He is also survived by his wife and their two beloved dogs.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Lt. Col. Virgil Drew Tidwell, Jr., USAF (Ret.) to an animal welfare shelter or rescue of your choice.
