He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Waddell and Fannie Bass Ward; his wife Doris "Dot" Pittman Waddell; and his sister Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Waddell of Augusta and Sharon Leo of Byron; his grandchildren, Stephanie Waddell, Kara Waddell, Emily Leo and Caleb Leo (Lilly); and his great grandchildren, Devin, Callie, Hunter, Sierra, Khole and Oliver.
