He is survived by: his wife Peggy Payne; his children, Tammie Dunagan (Norman) of Aiken, SC, William Payne of Warner Robins, GA and Keith Payne of Warner Robins, GA; and his siblings, Donna Mathis (Wayne) and Sandy Payne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
