He was predeceased by: his wife Jorunn Winks; and his brother Raymond George Winks. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Winks (Melissa) of Gastonia, Scott Winks (Loretta) of Richmond Hill and Lynn Locke (Ty) of Warner Robins; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Katelyn Winks, Nicholas and Joseph Alessi.
