It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William T. Meeks Sr. (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Soperton, Georgia, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bell and Nora Belle Schwalls Meeks; and his siblings, Sarah Bridges, Charles Meeks, Harold Meeks and Richard Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Marie Meeks; his children, Carol M. Thomas (Bickle) of Rocky Ford, GA and William T. "Billy" Meeks, Jr. (Heather) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Kristen Thomas, Abbey Meeks and Emery Meeks; his brother Arthur Meeks of Warner Robins; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Landers of Clarkesville, GA and Annette Turpen of Clarkesville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Bill to First United Methodist Church, Warner Robins, 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
