He was predeceased by: his former wife Illene Johns; and his son Johns, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Johns of Warner Robins; his daughters, Loretta Rusinski (Warner Robins) and Diane Walton (Perry); and his stepsons, Paul Kirkus (Arline), Jason Kirkland (Sonia) and Savannah.
