She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dunaway and Martha Turpin Dunaway; and her daughter Debbie Lindsey. She is survived by: her significant other Troy Brown; her sons, Ray Brown (Gail) of Blairsville, GA and Tim Brown (Dori) of Washington, GA; her son-in-law Kenneth Lindsey of Washington, GA.; her grandchildren, Mary Ellen Lindsey, Karin Lindsey of Washington, GA, Kristie Lindsey Rose of Nashville, TN, Andrea Brown Stringer Guffey (Roy) of Blairsville, GA, Ashley Brown, Adam Brown of New York City, NY, Scott Brown (Frankie) of Lincolnton, GA and Brittney Brown Dyson (Chris) of Thomson, GA; her brother Alex Dunaway of Washington, GA; her sister-in-law Regina Dunnaway of Washington, GA.; and her caregivers, Karen Abrams, Mary Danner and Althea Harden. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (217 Newtown Rd, Washington, GA 30673). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
