She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barron and Evelyn Ryals Barron; her daughter-in-law Lori Brown; and her brother Jim Barron. She is survived by: her son Jim Brown of Baldwin; her daughter-in-law Terri Brown of Watkinsville; her grandchildren, Noel, Spenser Ventrice of Baldwin, Sarah, Stephen Giles of Homer, Erica Brown of Athens and Ketron Brown of Watkinsville; her great grandchildren, Levi, Evan Ventrice, Walter, Grant and Ivey Grace Giles; and her siblings, Elizabeth Nix of Gainesville and Bill Barron of Clarkesville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel (245 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30531). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535).
