She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff O. Teasley and Mildred Gaines Teasley; her son James Carroll Bond; and her grandson Chris Bond. She is survived by: her husband Terrell Eugene Knight; her sons, Gerald Bond (Debbie) of Watkinsville and Joel Bond of Watkinsville; and her grandchildren, Melissa Pennington (Eric), Shannon Kilgore (Randy), Michael Bond (Jill) and Natalie Bond. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bernstein Funeral Home and Cremation Services (3195 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3655 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606).
