With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Alvin Spivey Jr. (Waycross, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita; his parents, James and Luvine; and his nephew Glen Dyal. He is survived by: his wife Niki; his children, James Spivey (Rachel), Sherri Bennett (Vance), Linnie Manuel (Woody), Breanna Staten, Jeremiah Staten (Jessi) and Emma Varnes; his grandchildren, Adrian (Carly), Vandi, Braydn, Nayla, Waylon, Leighton, Mataeo and Finn; his great grandchildren, Liam and Revan; his sister Betty Walker (Ken); his nieces, Kimmae VanLeimpd, Melissa Repep and Kim Rowell; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kailey, Kiana, Leilani and John Alex.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Destination Church (2081 Ware St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
