She was predeceased by : her father Emery Melton. She is survived by : her children, Eric Mixon of Waycross and Erin Mixon of Waycross; her grandsons, Noah Clark and Matthew Mixon; and her sisters, Suzanne Schery of Nahunta, Cynthia Melton of Nahunta, Melinda Burkhart of Waynesville and Molly Rowland of Waycross. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
