He was predeceased by: his parents, Ounice Martin Copeland, Sr. and Thelma Harden Copeland; his wife Shelba "JoAnn" Lynes Copeland; and his siblings, Ronald Copeland, Billy Copeland, Rena Mae Jolly, Mary Kay Copeland, Marie Kirkland and Linda Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Copeland of Leesburg, FL and Veronica Copeland of Waycross; his stepson Al Walker of Jeusp; his grandchildren, Jarrod Copeland (Amy), Coty Morris (Becky Terry), Tabatha Morris and Jakob Walker; his great grandchildren, Archie Copeland and Adeline Copeland; and his sister Jeanette Tindall of Palmetto, FL.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
