He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Joshua Ammons; and his siblings, Larry Ammons, Louise Allen and Jewell Strickland. He is survived by: his parent Thelma Grace Griffin Ammons; his wife Nettie Aycock Ammons of Waycross; his siblings, Terry Ammons (Martha) of Waycross and Lanell Mitchell (Charles) of Callahan, FL; his nieces, Delisa Griffin (Scott) and Haley King (Ryan); and his friend Steve Barnard (Marie) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
