In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Ellen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary Ellen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Nichols and Lula Clark Nichols; her husband Floyd Thomas Broughton; and her daughter Teresa Broughton. She is survived by: her son Kirk Broughton (Aundrea) of Waynesville; and her grandchildren, Brandy Johns, Kayla Broughton and Aaron McKinney.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
