It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard George Ruddick (West Point, Georgia), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Woodruff Ruddick and Helen Deiss Ruddick; and his siblings, Patricia Ruddick Harris (Laton) and Peter John Ruddick (Camille). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Corson Ruddick; his daughters, Sarah Ruddick Belsley (Jim) and Linda Ruddick (late Earl Wilson); his grandchildren, Michael Wilson (Liz), Heather Wilson and Brittany Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Wade Gonzalez, Fisher Gonzalez, Walker Gonzalez, Asher Wilson and Caleb Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Point First United Methodist Church (306 E 7th St, West Point, GA 31833).
