She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bagwell and Louella Willis Bagwell; her former husband J. C. Bennett; her daughter Debra Lynn Rogers; and her siblings, Beatrice Findley and David "Buddy" Bagwell, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Charles Barton; and her grandson Kevin Temples. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
