He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Everette Rowe and Mattie Lou Jones Rowe; his former wife Myrtle Joiner Rowe; and his brother Algy Rowe. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dowdy Rowe of Willacoochee; his children, Teresa Hancock (Huey) of Nashville, Terry Spell (Dan) of Ocilla, Marsha Fletcher (Wesley) of Claxton and James Edgar Rowe, Jr. (Wendy) of Gaylord, MI; and his siblings, Sandra Malesky of Nashville and Rev. Junior Rowe of Waycross. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
