She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Shadburn and Carrie Bennett Shadburn; and her husband H. H. Pennington. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Pennington of Bethlehem, Connie Walley of Winder and Kim Miller of Winder; and her brother Roger Shadburn of Dahlonega. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
