He is survived by: his wife Merry Cagle of Winston; his children, Heather (Timothy Gianndrea), Gretl (Corey Class), Kelley (Joey Velazquez), Michelle (Larry Ruble) and Peter Quinten; his daughter-in-law Sini Cagle of Nokia, Finland; his sister Alyson; his brother-in-law Tim DeFisher; and his brother Dean Zimmermann. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
