He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Amos Rigby and Annie Elizabeth Foster Rigby. He is survived by: his wife Betty Graham Rigby of Winston, Georgia; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Mark Beebe of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sons, Gary (Leesa Rigby), Greg (Joni Rigby) and Glenn (Kay Rigby); and his sister Barbara Willis of Athens, Georgia. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Ephesus Baptist Church Missions Fund; P.O. Box 280; Winston, GA 30187.
