She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Gregory Hathaway and Magdalene Roberson Hathaway; her daughter Jackie Ann Sipe; and her brother Jimmy Ray Hathaway. She is survived by: her husband Clinton B. Kennedy; her children, Jimmie Sipe (Dianne) of Florida and Teresa Ann Rhodes (Vance) of Georgia; her stepdaughter Ann Kennedy of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Ashland Rhodes of Georgia and Wayne Rhodes of Georgia; her nieces, Susan Cruse (Travis) of North Carolina and Lisa Johnson (Stephen) of North Carolina; and her great-niece Alyssa Johnson of North Carolina.
