It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jerry Wood of Winston, Georgia, born in Lindale, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Price Wood and Lucy Katherine McCollum Wood; his wife Barbara Jean Childers Wood; and his siblings, Marjorie Wood, Carolyn Herrick and Johnny Wood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Strawn (Joel) and Kimberly Wood of Winston, Georgia.; his grandson Tim Strawn (Ruth) of San Jacinto, California; and his siblings, Gene Wood (Donna), Eddie Wood (Nancy), Sue Nails and Marylin Herrick.
Services will be held in accordance with CDC guidelines regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
