She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hartsel and Carrie Marguerite Arnold Chandler; and her siblings, William Chandler, John Chandler, Robert Chandler, James Chandler, Hartsel Chandler, Lois Gum and Peggy Bracken.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Swoger; her children, Carrie Smith of Woodstock and Joshua Swoger of Kennesaw, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kinson and Evelyn Smith; and her brothers, Tom Chandler of Masontown and Jerry Chandler (Olive) of Marietta, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, or the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
