She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Johnson and Jessie Johnson (Moody); and her sisters, Shirley Whitehead and Bobbie Suttle. She is survived by: her husband Jim Herring; her brother Jerry Johnson (Diane) of Fort Mill, SC; her sons, Jamie Herring (Nancy) of Reidsville, NC and David Herring (Isabelle) of Milton, GA; her grandchildren, Victoria Herring, Troy Herring (Jo) and Ivan Herring; and her great grandchildren, Kenai and Zorya.
