She was predeceased by : her parents, Detia Mae Griggs Wallace and Frank Wallace; and her husband William Edward Chavis. She is survived by : her children, Reginald Chavis (Kenisha), Cherita Boggs of Pembroke, Georgia and Michael Chavis of Henderson; her siblings, Louise Wallace, Adell Wallace, Atlean Wilcher (Roy), Dian Wright (Ardell) of Wrightsville, Dalton Wallace (Angela) of Philadelphia, Johnny Wallace and Willie Frank Wallace of Meridan; her brother-in-law Costner Chavis of Henderson; her grandchildren, Austin Boggs, Kameron Boggs, Rayshen Chavis, Jaylen Chavis, Carter Chavis, Adelynn Chavis, Wykila Chavis and Tymesha Chavis; and her sisters-in-law, Naomi Chavis of Henderson, Mary Lou Chavis of Virginia Beach and Annie Lee Wallace. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
