He is survived by : his mother Patsy Barber; his daughters, Jennifer Nicole Layton Welch (Joey) and Rebecca Ann Layton Welch (Joshua); his stepson Julian Daniel Pope; his brothers, David Barber, Dickie Barber, James Barber, Jessie Barber and Jason Barber; and his half-siblings, Roy Layton, Jr. and Mary Layton Dusenberry (Ron). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
