She was predeceased by : her parents, Cosby L. Veal Sr. and Gracie Waller Veal; her husband Wilbur Renfroe; her daughter Brenda Kaye; and her siblings, Myra Claxton, Annie Laura Joiner, Lenora Joiner (Skeeter), Cosby L. Veal, Jr. (Boker), Lila Veal Roberts and Nell Hogan.

She is survived by : her daughter Lynda F. McKim (Glenn) of Tampa, Florida; her siblings, Mary Lyles, Delma Veal and Chester Veal (Suzanne); her grandson Jeff Reynolds (Erin); and her great grandchild Pierce.
