He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Hanoa Wong of Kaalaiki, Kau; his children, Denicia Derasin (Kirk) of Kau, Lucan Wong of Maui and Colton Wong (Tiana) of Mountain View; his sisters, Victoria Kai (Randy) of Waiohinu and Charlene Harvest (Marshall) of Haleiwa; and his son Shane Uyetake of Hilo. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
