It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth C. Silva (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Kurtistown, Hawaii, who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her sons, Phillip Silva (Valerie) of Mt. View and James Silva of Mt. View; and her siblings, Richard Carvalho (Pauline) of Honolulu, Oahu and Margaret Tinari of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
