With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Itsuyo Kaetsu Kitamura of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Kaneda (Calvin) of Wailuku, Maui and Kevin Kitamura of Hilo; her brother Melvin Kaetsu (June) of Hakalau; her sister-in-law Cynthia Kaetsu of Hilo; and her stepsiblings, Elmer Yada (Eileen) of Pepeekeo and Elaine Yano (Ray) of Gardena, California. She is also survived by two grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
