He is survived by: his wife Norine Okuhara of Hilo, Hawaii; his daughters, Michelle Palmquist (Neal) of New Albany and Caroline "Carrie" Okuhara (Nico Hicks) of Commerce City, Colorado; his brother Thomas Okuhara (Wanthani) of Sarasota, Florida; and his grandchildren, Madison Palmquist, Kanika Hicks and Marvis Hicks, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
