He is survived by: his wife Suk Hui "Suki" Hamano of Hilo; his siblings, James Hamano (Sandra) of Hilo, Miles Hamano of Honolulu, Mae Takamoto and Emma Sousa (Larry) of Hilo; and his siblings-in-law, Don Nakamura of Hilo and Charity Hamano of Seattle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
