It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miyo Koyanagi Oye (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Kaneohe, Hawaii, who passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Miyo was loved and cherished by many people including: daughters, Naomi Oye of California and Amy Miyao (Glenn) of Hilo; and siblings-in-law, Thomas Oye (Suzie) of Honolulu, Ritsuko "Ruth" Takemoto of Honolulu and May Tamura of Honolulu. Miyo was also cherished by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
