She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert I. Shima of Hilo, HI, Aaron S. Shimabukuro of Honolulu, HI, John K. Shimabukuro (Stacie) of Honolulu, HI and Elaine Kudaishi (Edwin) of Honolulu, HI; and her siblings, Douglas Higa (Corrine) of Kamuela, HI and Amy Ban of Hilo, HI. She was also cherished by five grandchildren, one great grandchild; numerous nieces & nephews.
