She was predeceased by: her parents, Fusho Teruya and Christine Teruya; and her siblings, Leina'ala Teruya Drummond (Ian), Ryan Teruya (Gina) and Asa Teruya (Valerie).
She is survived by: her husband Lee Yamashita; her children, Rhonda Kanamu (Travis), Robyn Delapinia (Ray) and Everett Lee Yamashita (Nicole); her siblings, Leona Asako Medeiros (John), Iwalani Bosque (Benny), Darlyn Atay and Cindy Teruya; her grandchildren, Tiana Diaz (Mike), Travis Kanamu, Jr., Taesha Kanamu, Ihilani Lei Delapinia, Brett Delapinia, Lyla Brooke Yamashita, Callie Yamashita and Kaia Yamashita; and her great grandchildren, Micah Diaz, Tehani Diaz, Makoa Diaz and Mikey Diaz. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Grace Bible Church (635 Hina Ave, Kahului, HI 96732). Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
