She is survived by : her husband Alvin Akina; her daughter Carrie Akina of Kailua Kona; her stepsons, Jesse Akina of Kailua Kona and Carl Akina of Keaau; and her sister Carol Price of San Leandro, CA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several nieces.
