He is survived by: his wife Annette Akiona of Kailua-Kona; his children, Matthew Akiona (Christina) of Honaunau and Katrina Lee of Kailua-Kona; his father Anthony Akiona (Cook) of Capt; and his siblings, Michael Akiona (Sherine) of Ocean View, Russell Akiona of Ocean View, Terry Akiona, Redonda Gilbert and Thersa Gonzales (Danny) of Farmersville, CA.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
