He is survived by: his wife Caroline Cataraha; his children, Douglas Cataraha Jr., Scott Cataraha, Cheryl Cataraha Cagampang (Garrett) and Donna Guillermo (Fred); and his siblings, Ronald Cataraha, Steven Cataraha (JaneEllen Poggioli), Willy Cataraha, Gloria Hing (William) and Cholae Penovaroff (Tim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
