We bid farewell to Geraldine Ebaniz of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2025 at the age of 80. As we bid Geraldine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Geraldine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ako and Lucy Ako; and her uncle Alfred "Sonny". She is survived by: her aunt Harriet "Didi" Branco; her husband Peter Ebaniz; her sons, Ivan "Kalani" Ebaniz and Scott Ebaniz; her grandson Peter Ebaniz (Makenzie) of Kailua Kona; her daughters, Gerrydale Libarios (Robert) of Mililani and Deannie Ferreira (Glenn) of Mililani; and her siblings, Arnold Ako (Lorie) and Lucille Mareko (Sipou). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (73-4202 Hawaii Belt Road, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 96740).
