He is survived by : his wife Marylou Nakao of Kailua-Kona; his children, Mary Kiaha of Kealakekua, Tammie Rabara (Rollin) of Kailua-Kona, Abbie Hanohano (Hano) of Kailua-Kona, Valerie Umeda (Mark) of Honalo, Walter A Mow, III (Nicole) of Kalaoa, Kona and Kanoelehua Kenoi of Hilo; his brothers, Dennis Nakao of Kahului, Maui and Daniel Nakao (Helen) of Kahului, Maui; and his sisters-in-law, May Nakao of La Palma, CA. and Inge Nakao of Germany. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
