It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zachary Kahikina Kanuha Sr. of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Kanuha' and Red Kanuha'; and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Kina Kanuha, Pachi Kanuha, Kaui Kanuha, Shannon Kanuha, Ikaika Kanuha and Nikki Kane; and his siblings, Rosemary Kanuha, Monica Enos, Pocho Youderian and Jerome Kanuha. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Maka'Eo Pavilion (75-5560 Kuakini Hwy, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
