He is survived by: his wife Sachie Ozaki Ohata of Kamuela; his children, Mark Ohata (Jacquelyn) of Kailua-Kona and Dr. Ruth Ohata (Bert Saito) of Hilo; and his siblings, Harold Ohata of Hilo, Kay Fukuda and Tomoko Ohata of Maui. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
