He is survived by : his children, Simplicio Carpio Jr. (Virginia Rapoza) of Pa'auilo, Hawai, Vernal Carpio (Suzanna Lopez) of Ainaloa, Stuart Carpio of Clackamas, Oregon, Lisa Peters (Dennis) of Honoka'a, Hawaii and Lori Crossley (Carl) of Henderson, Nevada; and his brothers, Saturnino Carpio of Kohala and Arsenio Carpio of Opihikao, Hawaii. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
