It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yuriko Sameshima of Kamuela, Hawaii, born in Honokaa, Hawaii, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Yuriko may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her children, Jarret Sameshima (Nancy) of Green Valley and Victor Sameshima (Linda) of Gardena, California.; and her caregiver Robby Bland of Kamuela. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and koden (monetary gifts), donations in memory of Yuriko "Yuri" Sameshima may be made to North Hawaii Hospice.
