She is survived by: her son Gerald Chinen; her grandson Benjamin Chinen of Walnut Creek, CA; and her sisters, Mitzi Yoshimoto of Honolulu and Nancy Okuda (Bob) of Honolulu. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
